Denbigh Midsummer Festival - Denbigh Carnival & Motor Show 2019 (22 June 2019)

Fun-filled day for all the family with a procession of floats, Carnival Royalty and performers. Procession starts at Caledfryn and finishes at Middle Park (next to Denbigh Town FC behind Denbigh Infirmary).

Denbigh and Flint Show 2019 (15 August 2019)

The Denbigh and Flint Show offers a wonderful day out with a variety of attractions and entertainments to suit the whole family on the 3rd Thursday in August each year. Come and join us!

Thursday 18th August promises yet another eventful Denbigh and Flint Show with new classes, many new attractions, a great day out for families, exhibitors and traders alike!

Packed with all you’d expect from a Summer County show – and more. There’s a livestock area, where you can see the best beasts being judged by some of our finest stockmen and women; horse rings where experts demonstrate their skills; a vintage section showing cars, tractors and engines from a bygone age of farming. denbighandflintshow.com/

The Denbigh Show 2019 (24 August 2019)

The Denbigh Show is an outdoor traditional family event held in the beautiful historic market town of Denbigh within the picturesque Vale of Clwyd.

Once again the 2019 Show will be filled with an interesting and varied range of activities and displays to suit all age group.

The much loved flower show celebrates its 77th year, with almost 300 classes will offer all aspects of horticulture, floristry, art, handicraft, cookery and photography.

Ample Free Parking on site, half hourly free shuttle bus throughout Denbigh from 12:30 departing from the Show ground, picking up at Bryn Stanley, Lenten Pool, High Street, Vale Street (Lidl), Rhyl Road (Plas Eleri), Ruthin Road (Trewen).  The last bus from the field is 6pm

Denbigh Plum Feast (5 October 2019)

The Denbigh Plum is a variety unique to the town, so it seems only right for us to honour it with its very own festival! The plum is soon to be granted protected geographical status – watch this space…

The feast lasts all day, with a magnificent range of dishes on offer. Come and taste for yourself!

Fireworks Display at the Castle (5 November 2019)

Wrap up warm and watch the sparks fly, the fireworks are due to kick off at 7pm. Ample parking available in the town's car parks.

Please note that access roads leading to the Castle will be closed to vehicles around an hour before the event starts to ensure pedestrian safety 

Boxing Day - Roll the Barrel Races (26 December 2019)

The races start at about 10.30 after the departure of the Flint and Denbigh Hunt.

Junior races take place in Crown Square with the adult races (men, women and teams of two) staged on the High Street. Registration for the races is on Boxing day only.
