Marilyn Monroe came to Pinewood Studios in 1956 to shoot ‘The Prince and the Showgirl’, a light comedy directed by and starring Laurence Olivier. Colin Clark, the third assistant director on the film, was the lucky 23-year-old who got to spend a week with her.

Seconds before the launch of NASA’s first manned mission to Mars, the three astronauts are pulled from the capsule and the rocket leaves earth unmanned. The plan is to fake the Mars landing and keep the astronauts at a remote base until the mission is over, but something goes seriously wrong.
